Happy Birthday!
Today is our nation's birthday. Hundreds of millions will no doubt celebrate this wonderful event.
Most of them don't know that it's also my Grandmother's birthday. She's 96.
To get a sense of this achievement, consider that 96 years ago, Big Bill Taft was President of the United States (Teddy Roosevelt kicked off the year by finishing his second term).
96 years before that, James Madison was President!
So here's a great big shoutout: Happy Birthday, Grandma G!
