Howie Does Right By His Readers

Those of you who read CCM regularly are no doubt familiar with our Gullible's Travails feature (most recently, see this post).

I'm glad to report that Howard Kurtz's story in today's WaPost about Matt Cooper's TV appearances yesterday was spot on. He reported RNC SIC Ken Mehlman's...ahem....claims, and then he also reported the facts. He didn't get caught up in all this distractive dissembling that members of the GOP (at least, those of its members willing to talk publicly) has been peddling.

Nope. He wrote a fine story, focused on the key facts and issues.

Kudos to Kurtz.
